The government's airplane 'Falcon' carrying Serbian Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic to Sofia on Thursday had to return to the Belgrade airport only 15 minutes after taking off due to a major failure.

As Tanjug was told by the members of the delegation, 15 minutes after the take off, the light signalizing technical failure turned on and the pilot announced that the plane had to return to Belgrade due to technical problems.

Cvetkovic was to confer with his Bulgarian counterpart Boyko Borisov in Sofia on Thursday and attend the opening of the first Tempo hypermarket in that country, which, according to the government, represents Serbia's major investment in Bulgaria.

This is not the first incident happening with the government's Learjet. Technical problems had also occured on Cvetkovic's flight to Prague, when the plane had to land in Karlovy Vary.
