Vetëvendosje: Jakup Krasniqi violated the Constitution by mandating Thaçi to create the Government

Koha Ditore reports that Vetëvendosje movement has accused acting President of Kosovo, Jakup Krasniqi for violation of the Constitution of Kosovo, by nominating the leader of the Democratic Party as designate for the future Government.

“This decision is based on article 84 point 14, of the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo, which says that the President of the Republic of Kosovo nominates the designate for creation of the Government, after the proposal of the political party or coalition, that makes majority at the Assembly,” stresses Vetëvendosje in a press release, adding that Jakup Krasniqi has violated the Constitution, because the agreement for coalition did not exist at the moment of the nomination,.
