Williamson has constructive meetings in Belgrade

 After his visit to Belgrade, the chief prosecutor of the EU's special team for investigating claims about organ trafficking in Kosovo, John Clint Williamson, is encouraged by the Serbian authorities' resolve to fully cooperate in the investigation.

 After his visit to Belgrade, the chief prosecutor of the EU's special team for investigating claims about organ trafficking in Kosovo, John Clint Williamson, is encouraged by the Serbian authorities' resolve to fully cooperate in the investigation.

A statement the EU Delegation sent BETA on Oct. 26 read that during "positive and constructive" meetings with Serbian officials, Williamson pointed out the serious and sensitive nature of his investigation.

During his visit to Belgrade from Oct. 24 to 26, the chief prosecutor of the special EU investigation team met with President Boris Tadic, the deputy chief of office of the interior minister, Vanja Vukic, the general director of police, Milorad Veljovic, War Crimes Prosecutor Vladimir Vukcevic, as well as with diplomatic officials and representatives of NGOs.
