Montenegro's total trade in the first eight months of this year was EUR1.69 billion, or 16.5 percent more than in the same period last year, announced Monstat.

Montenegro's total trade in the first eight months of this year was EUR1.69 billion, or 16.5 percent more than in the same period last year, announced Monstat.

Serbia remains one of the country's most important trade partners, accounting for imports worth almost EUR480 million and EUR60 million in Montenegrin exports.

Montenegro's overall exports in the January-August period were worth EUR331 million, or 44.7 percent more than last year, while imports added up to EUR1.36 billion 11.2 percent more than in the same period of 2010.
