Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic today sent best wishes for Kurban Bayram to dignitaries, religious officials, professors of Islamic educational institutions, students and all Islamic believers in Serbia.

Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic today sent best wishes for Kurban Bayram to dignitaries, religious officials, professors of Islamic educational institutions, students and all Islamic believers in Serbia.

"It is my honest wish that each individual and every family spend Kurban Bayram in joy and peace with their loved ones.

I would like to assure all Islamic believers and their neighbours of other faiths, with whom the Muslims have shared the same human and historical destiny for centuries, that only through joint efforts can we contribute to respecting diversities and creating conditions in which all ethnic and religious communities live in peace and tolerance, freely promoting their own values," reads the message from the Prime Minister.
