Portuguese singer Teresa Salgueiro, former lead of the group Madredeus, will perform in Belgrade and Novi Sad on April 18 and 19.

Concert agency My Way has announced that the audience at Belgrade's Dom Sindikata will be treated to three hours of Portuguese music, and Maja Volk and Beogradski fadisiti will perform some of the most famous fado pieces.

Salgueiro is one of Portugal's most sought after singers. She held over 1,000 concerts with Madredeus alone, after she shot to fame in the Wim Wenders film Lisbon Story.

Since launching her solo career with the album "Obrigado" in 2006, Teresa Salgueiro has recorded albums and performed worldwide. She has collaborated with many artists, such as Jose Carreras, Caetano Veloso and others.
