Interest rate of central bank bills is reduced by 0.5 percentage points, and now stands at 4.5 percent, said Friday Macedonian National Bank (NBRM) governor Petar Gosev.
Interest rate of central bank bills is reduced by 0.5 percentage points, and now stands at 4.5 percent, said Friday Macedonian National Bank (NBRM) governor Petar Gosev.
According to Gosev, the reduction aims at supporting the country's banking sector and improvement of economy in general.
NBRM will continue to monitor developments in domestic and global economy, resulting in further bank interventions.
Governor Gosev assessed the biggest risks for Macedonia's economy are global economic developments and external demand.
