Direct investment in Bulgaria and abroad dropping

Direct Bulgarian investment abroad for January-April 2011 was 24.5 million euro, some 14 million euro down from the same period last year, according to figures by the National Statistical Institute.

Direct Bulgarian investment abroad for January-April 2011 was 24.5 million euro, some 14 million euro down from the same period last year, according to figures by the National Statistical Institute.

Direct foreign investment in the country fell 62.5 million euro. In January-April 2010 foreign investment rose 379 million euro (1.1% of GDP).
