The Czech Republic has taken over the Presidency of Visegrad Group (V4) and its priorities for the next year include a coordination of positions on the European Union draft budget, energy security, nuclear energy and EU-integration of Western Balkans.
The Czech Republic has taken over the Presidency of Visegrad Group (V4) and its priorities for the next year include a coordination of positions on the European Union draft budget, energy security, nuclear energy and EU-integration of Western Balkans.
The Visegrad Group, also called the Visegrad Four or V4, is an alliance of four Central European states – the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia – for the purposes of cooperation and furthering their European integration.
The European Commission will present the draft of the EU financial frames and the group's participation in the debate will be one of the Czech Presidency priorities, officials of the country's Ministry of Foreign Affairs say
