Croatian exports up in first five months

Croatian exports have grown 3.7 per cent compared to the first five months of last year, while imports increased by 3.3 per cent, Croatian Bureau of Statistics (DZS) shows.

Expressed in Euros, exports totalled 3.7 billion Euros, while imports were valued at 6.1 billion Euros.
The trade deficit grew by 2.7 per cent to 2.4 billion Euros.
Expressed in kunas exports totalled 27 billion, registering a growth of 5.4 per cent year on year. Imports grew by five per cent to 44.9 billion kunas.
Just in May, 696.7 million Euros of goods were exported or 17.3 per cent less than in the same month last year. At the same time May exports grew by 3.4 per cent to 1.32 billion Euros, portal Business writes.
