On 9 August, 11 Bulgarian regions will be under Code Yellow, which signals potentially dangerous hot weather.

On 9 August, 11 Bulgarian regions will be under Code Yellow, which signals potentially dangerous hot weather.

The Code refers to the districts of Blagoevgrad, Plovdiv, Pazardzhik, Stara Zagora, Haskovo, Kardzhali, Sliven, Yambol, Veliko Tarnovo, Rousse and Pleven.

According to meteorologists, very hot weather is not unusual for the season, but people are advised to avoid risks.
