The open pit "Drmno", produced in July 4:01 million cubic meters of over burden solid mass of coal, which is about 400,000 cubic meters more than the previous monthly record recorded in May last year, announced the Company TE "Mines Kostolac".

In early August, daily production of coal surface mine "Drmno" was also large and ranged between 30,000 to 35,000 tons.

This is expected because, in addition to providing the required quantity of coal for thermal capacity should also provide enough coal to fill the landfills, which are for the duration of the repair system on coal strip mine "Drmno" almost empty.

During July, the main mining machinery involved in the excavation of coal surface mine "Drmno" did not work for implementation of planned overhaul and reconstruction operations.

For seven months of this year, the open pit "Drmno", excavated a total of 22,213,474cubic meters of overburden solid mass of coal, which is 14 percent above the balanced amount for this period.
