Four commercial banks selected at a tender, will release loans worth EUR 25 million to small and medium enterprises.

The financing will be provided under a credit line contracted by the Bulgarian Bank for Development with Kreditanstalt fuer Wiederaufbau.

This is the second agreement of the bank for loans from the German financial institution. The maximum size for financing one enterprise will be EUR 3 million with a repayment period of ten years.

The Bulgarian Bank for Development is the only state-run bank in this country. For the last month alone it has attracted more than EUR 100 million from international institutions for crediting of Bulgarian businesses.
