President of the Socialist Party of Serbia Ivica Dacic said Thursday that elections will be held in April or May 2012 and that he believes that the socialists will run with their present coalition partners - PUPS and United Serbia.

He told reporters that there is no reason for holding early elections.

Elections will be regular, said Dacic, who is Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Internal Affairs.
