The Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) said that it would not support any new bill until the end of the mandate of the current parliament's composition.
“LDP has done everything it could and made a lot of sacrifices to help the parliament adopt European laws and it will not vote for any more laws during the current composition of the body,” LDP deputy Ivan Andric said in the parliament.
The party called on the Serbian government to inform them on its plan of actions that would ensure Serbia's getting the EU membership candidacy status on December 9.
The LDP wants to know “what the government plans to do to make the barricades in northern Kosovo disappear by December 9, to re-establish the dialogue with Pristina and to ensure the implementation of all the agreements reached so far.”
“These are all necessary conditions for Serbia to get the candidacy status on December 9,” Andric said.
