Greece’s Finance ministry on Thursday launched procedures to find legal advisors for the privatization of Athens Water and Thessaloniki Water enterprises.

Greece’s Finance ministry on Thursday launched procedures to find legal advisors for the privatization of Athens Water and Thessaloniki Water enterprises.

Under the government’s privatization plan, the state will sell 27 percent of Athens Water (from 61 percent it currently owns) and 40 percent in Thessaloniki Water (from 74 percent it currently owns).

Candidate law firms and offices must submit their offers by Wednesday, 12 October.
