Italy is Serbia's major export partners to which the country exported goods in the value of USD 509 million, according to the Serbian Statistical Office's data, second is Bosnia-Herzegovina (USD 498 million) and third Germany (USD 482 million).

The country's major import partners were Russia, from which Serbia imported goods in the vale of USD 1 billion, Germany (USD 822 million) and Italy (USD 693 million). The greatest deficit was recorded with Russia, due to import of oil and gas.
It amounted to USD 825 million in the first six months of 2010. The greatest surplus was gained in the external trade with Montenegro, Bosnia-Herzegovina and FYRMacedonia.
