Representatives of the Chinese Embassy, correspondents of Chinese media from Belgrade and a delegation of the Serbian Press Association laid wreaths yesterday on a memorial plate where, during the NATO bombing of the Chinese Embassy in Belgrade in 1999, three Chinese journalists were killed and 21 staff members were injured.

We intend to build a Chinese Culture Centre on that site, considering the importance of this place and the significance of our relations with Serbia, Chinese Ambassador in Belgrade Vei Jinhua said.
