Minister of Economy and Regional Development Nebojsa Ciric will address an official reception on the occasion of the Danube Conference on 24 June at 19.30, at the Belgrade City Hall.
Minister of Economy and Regional Development Nebojsa Ciric will address an official reception on the occasion of the Danube Conference on 24 June at 19.30, at the Belgrade City Hall.
The Danube Floating Conference will be held on a boat which will cruise the Danube from 24 to 26 June, all the way to Vidin, Bulgaria.
The conference is organised by the Deputy Prime Minister’s cabinet, the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development, the Bulgarian Ministry of Economy, Energy and Tourism, the Romanian Ministry of Regional Development and Tourism and the Danube Competence Centre, financed by donations from the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development through the GIZ agency.
Four panel discussions will be held as part of the conference: “How will the EU’s Danube Strategy Endorse our Vision of the Danube?“, “Regional Development and Strengthening Competitiveness of Destination Danube”, “New Ways of Tourism Cooperation in the Danube Region” and “Biodiversity of the Danube and its Effect on Tourism Development.”
A declaration from the Danube Conference will be signed, highlighting an exchange of information and good neighbourly relations as an integral approach to future implementation of the EU Danube Strategy.
