U.S. Gov't donates computers to BiH border police

The new donation from the U.S. Government worth about 100.000 dollars, within ICITAP program in BiH, shall increase efficiency of the border police and especially contribute to networking of all organizational units.
Handover of the U.S. donation comprised of 70 computers was held last week at the main office of BiH Border Police.
On behalf of the donor, the U.S. Government, Ambassador Charles English visited the office and met with its director Vinko Dumancic.
The new donation from the U.S. Government worth about 100.000 dollars, within ICITAP program in BiH, shall increase efficiency of the border police and especially contribute to networking of all organizational units.
"New computers will be installed at border crossings, where they are needed the most”, said Dumancic.
Up to date, the U.S. Government donated some 5.9 million KM in equipment and training.
"Helping the border police we help BiH to move forward in EU integrations and towards final conclusion of the agreement on visa regime liberalization”, stated U.S. Ambassador Charles English.
