National Institute for Meteorology and Hydrology has issued code orange for six districts across Bulgaria and code yellow in 11 others due to high temperatures, the institute told FOCUS News Agency.

Code orange is valid in the districts of Ruse, Veliko Tarnovo, Stara Zagora, Haskovo, Yambol, and Kardzhali. There temperatures are forecast to be between 35°C and 38°C.

Code yellow is issued for the districts of Pleven, Gabrovo, Plovdiv, Targovishte, Sliven, Razgrad, Shumen, Burgas, Varna, Dobrich, and Silistra.
