Serbian Minister without portfolio Sulejman Ugljanin and Bosniak member of the Bosnia-Herzegovina Presidency Bakir Izetbegovic discussed in Sarajevo the current political and economic situation in Sandzak (western Serbia), Izetbegovic's cabinet released.

Serbian Minister without portfolio Sulejman Ugljanin and Bosniak member of the Bosnia-Herzegovina Presidency Bakir Izetbegovic discussed in Sarajevo the current political and economic situation in Sandzak (western Serbia), Izetbegovic's cabinet released.

Izetbegovic backed the Programme of measures for economic development and stabilisation of the political climate in Sandzak which Ugljanin, who is also the leader of the Bosniak List for European Sandzak coalition, presented to him.

The BiH official also commended the Bosniak representatives in the Serbian parliament for their active role in the passing of laws vital for Serbia's EU accession, the statement reads.

Izetbegovic expects the authorities in Belgrade to meet the legitimate demands of the Bosniak representatives put forward in the programme, the statement adds.
