Premier Berisha departed today for a working visit to Milan, Italy, at an invitation of Head of Milan Municipality, Mrs. Leticia Moratti, to participate in the Albania-Italy Economic Forum, organized by Milan Municipality, region of Lombardy and Union of Chambers of Commerce.

The Forum aims at strengthening economic cooperation, presentation of successful Italian projects in Albania, attraction of more Italian investments in our country and deepening of cooperation with the Albanian business.

In this respect, PM Berisha is accompanied by a group of about 100 representatives of the Albanian business, who will have the opportunity to meet with about 100 representatives of the Italian enterprises, participating in the Forum.

The Premier Berisha will address the panel, where will make a panorama of the economic developments in Albania, economic, fiscal and administrative reforms for establishment of a favorable climate for business, potentials of Albania in many fields, in particular in fields of common interest.

During this visit, PM Berisha will hold meetings with senior officials of the Italian government and local power in the region of Lombardy.

In the conclusion of this visit, PM Berisha, accompanied by his spouse Mrs. Liri Berisha, will attend the opening of an exhibition for Mother Teresa at Palace of Marino, an initiative of Foundation “Mother Teresa”, with the support of Milan Municipality.
