The police have detained Shpresim Uka, mentioned in the affair of political murders in Kosmet, started by former member of the Kosmet intelligence service Nazim Blaca, report the Pristina media.
The EULEX judge Francesco Flori has order Uka to report to the police in Pristina every Monday. He is suspected of a murder, attempted murder and organized crime, thus being the third person to whom special measures have been proscribed since the opening of the “Blaca” affair.
Namely, besides Blaca and Uka, also arrested in January was Driton Haidari.
The police and EULEX have commenced the action in November 2009, when they arrested Blaca, who talked about the political assassinations in Kosmet after the conflict of 1999, adding that he took part himself in some of those.
According to Blaca, Uka is mentioned in the hierarchy immediately under Azem Sula, who is marked as a person deciding on the executions.
