The Serbian dinar will drop by o.2 per cent on Thursday despite the intervention of the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) which sold EUR 30 million on Wednesday, and the official middle exchange rate would total RSD 110.7622, NBS stated in a release.

Not taking the Wednesday intervention into account the central bank sold EUR 208.5 million on the inter-bank foreign exchange market since the beginning of the year in order to ease excessive daily volatility of the exchange rate.

The dinar will drop against the euro by 3.1 per cent on the monthly level on Thursday, while the drop on the annual level will total 6.6 per cent.

The indicative rate of the dinar against the dollar totaled RSD 84.4353, which constitutes a drop of 0.4 per cent relative to Tuesday. On the monthly level, the dinar dropped by 4.2 per cent against the dollar, while the drop on the annual level totaled 12.3 per cent.
