More and more details regarding voter intimidation, vote buying and attacks on the members of election commission are being discovered in Kosovo, the German radio Deutsche Welle released.

The residents of Glogovac (central Kosovo) and Srbica (northern Kosovo) claimed to have witnessed threats, attacks, misuse of the votes of people living abroad and the deceased.

Manipulations occurred in Rznic (western Kosovo), where some masked men were stuffing ballot boxes with already prepared ballot papers. The citizens noted that the media and those who have witnessed the irregularities must keep silent, since they are exposed to constant threats.

In some Kosovo's municipalities, it is not easy to talk openly about electoral frauds due to widespread threats.

In the municipalities of Glogovac, Decani (western Kosovo) and Srbica, the elections will be repeated on January 9 on account of electoral frauds. Many political parties violated the election law even during the election campaign. For that reason, the Elections Complaints and Appeals Panel fined political parties EUR 330,000 in total.

The Democratic Party of Kosovo led by Hasim Taci had to pay the greatest amount (EUR 123,400).
