Montenegrin Premier Luksic visits Belgrade

Montenegrin Prime Minister Igor Luksic will discuss promotion of economic cooperation and joint infrastructure projects with Serbia's top-ranking state officials in Belgrade on July 20, his cabinet announced.

Montenegrin Prime Minister Igor Luksic will discuss promotion of economic cooperation and joint infrastructure projects with Serbia's top-ranking state officials in Belgrade on July 20, his cabinet announced.

Luksic is scheduled to meet with his Serbian counterpart Mirko Cvetkovic, President Boris Tadic , Parliament Speaker Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic, as well as Serbian Orthodox Church Patriarch Irinej.

Montenegrin Finance Minister Milorad Katnic and Transport Minister Andrija Lompar will accompany Luksic on the visit.

This is Luksic's first official visit to a foreign country after assuming the office of Montenegro's prime minister in late December 2010.

Visit schedule

10.30 – official welcome ceremony, open to the media;

10.40–10.55 – a meeting between Serbian Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic and Montenegrin Prime Minister Igor Luksic. Cameramen and photographers will be allowed to record the beginning of the meeting;

11.00–11.45 – a plenary meeting of the delegations. Cameramen and photographers will be allowed to record the beginning of the meeting;

11.50–12.20 – press conference at the government building.
