Greece: Last train from Pyrgos to Kalamata

The last - ever Greek Railways (OSE) train between the Peloponnese cities of Pyrgos and Kalamata  ran on January 30, after which the service is suspended until further notice.

The last - ever Greek Railways (OSE) train between the Peloponnese cities of Pyrgos and Kalamata  ran on January 30, after which the service is suspended until further notice.

According to an announcement by train operators, train services 1350, 1351, 1352 and 1353 that run on the Pyrgos-Kalamata-Pyrgos line will also be stopped.

The decision to scrap the lines forms part of a new penny-pinching reform policy for OSE.
