Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Regional Development Mladjan Dinkic and representatives of the company “United Colours of Benetton” and the city of Nis will sign at 12.00 on 31 January the contract on opening “Benetton” factory in Nis which will employ 2,700 workers in next four years.

The value of investment is €43.2 million and the state will support this project with €9,000 per every new employee.

"Benetton" plans to launch production in the facilities of Nis factory “Niteks” and to bring to Nis some of its suppliers. It also plans to establish cooperation with domestic companies that can meet standards of “Benetton”.
