The Embassy of Greece in Serbia is pleased to announce the ratification of the Stabilization and Association Agreement between the EU and the Republic of Serbia, by the Plenum of the Greek Parliament on January 26th, 2011.

Commenting the above, Greece’s Ambassador to Serbia Mr. Dimosthenis Stoidis, stressed that the ratification of the SAA by the Greek Parliament is a proof of the consistency by which Greece supports Serbia’s accession to the EU, as expressed by its political initiative “Agenda 2014”, on the acceleration of the integration process of Western Balkans in the EU.

Greece will continue to work together with the Serbian Government to achieve this objective, in order to promote stability in the region as well as traditional bonds of friendship and cooperation between the peoples of the two countries.
