A parcel came to the Croatian embassy in Berlin Monday afternoon, which consisted of a hand grenade and a threatening letter, Croatian Foreign Ministry confirmed.

A parcel came to the Croatian embassy in Berlin Monday afternoon, which consisted of a hand grenade and a threatening letter, Croatian Foreign Ministry confirmed.

The parcel was delivered by a courier company, and the embassy workers found it suspicious.

According to the procedures, the parcel was immediately put aside and German police informed.

The police moved the bomb from the embassy.

Investigation about the possible sender and reasons for sending the threatening delivery is under way, the statement reads.
