Serbia and Austria have traditionally been very good economic partners, and during 2010 the trade between the two countries has improved, the head of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce (PKS) Office in Vienna, Vera Vidovic told Tanjug on Tuesday.

She expressed expectation that the number of Austria's investments in Serbia will increase in 2011, and recalled that since the beginning of 2010, Austria has invested over EUR 2.6 billion in the Serbian economy.

Considering the 2011 expectations for the Austrian economy to exit crisis and for Serbia to get the EU candidate status, Serbia will become more attractive for foreign investors, Vidovic said.

She underscored that the PKS will organize an investment forum in Vienna in May 2011 so as to gather the greatest Austrian investors and present them with the possibilities of investing in Serbia.
